The upcoming realme 14 Pro series is officially set to launch on January 16, and the smartphones are already creating excitement due to their unique cold-sensitive colour-changing design and upgraded camera technology. Developed in collaboration with the renowned Nordic design studio Valeur Designers, the new series introduces an innovative Pearl White variant that uses advanced thermochromic fusion fiber technology. This technology allows the back panel to change colour when exposed to colder temperatures, giving users a dynamic and premium smartphone experience unlike conventional designs available in the market.

The realme 14 Pro series will be available in four stylish colour options. The globally available variants include Pearl White and Suede Grey, while Indian users will also get two exclusive shades — Bikaner Purple and Jaipur Pink. These India-exclusive colours are inspired by the rich architectural beauty and cultural heritage of the cities of Bikaner and Jaipur, adding a touch of regional elegance to the devices.

In terms of display quality, the realme 14 Pro series features a premium Quad Curve display with 1.5K resolution and ultra-slim 1.6mm bezels, making it one of the slimmest displays in its price category. The immersive screen design is expected to provide a flagship-level viewing experience for gaming, streaming, and daily usage.

The camera system is another major highlight of the series. The smartphones come equipped with a triple-reflection periscope camera setup led by a powerful 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor. The camera supports up to 120x Super Zoom, 3x optical zoom, and 6x lossless zoom for detailed long-range photography. The setup also includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera for capturing wider scenes and a 32MP autofocus front camera designed for high-quality selfies and sharp video calls. Additionally, the devices feature a triple-flash camera system for improved low-light photography.

Performance-wise, the realme 14 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, as revealed through a recent Geekbench listing. The smartphone is likely to come with 8GB RAM and run on Android 15 out of the box, delivering improved performance, smoother multitasking, and the latest software experience compared to the previous realme 13 Pro series.
